The Evidence
of arterial plaque samples contained microplastics, linked to 4.5x higher risk of heart attack, stroke, or death.
NEJM, 2024
of human testicles and placentas tested contained microplastics. No sample was clean.
Toxicological Sciences, 2024
of plastic mass estimated in the average adult brain — concentrations rising 50% from 2016 to 2024.
Nature Medicine, 2025
plastic fragments detected per liter of bottled water. 90% are nanoplastics that cross cell membranes.

The Science
The Nrf2 pathway is your body's master regulator of cellular defense — controlling over 200 cytoprotective genes. When activated, it upregulates Phase II detoxification enzymes, antioxidant production, and cellular repair mechanisms. Sulforaphane is the most potent naturally occurring Nrf2 activator known to science.
Clinical Evidence
61% Increase in Toxin Excretion
In a randomized controlled trial of 291 participants, sulforaphane-rich broccoli seed extract increased urinary benzene excretion by 61%. The effect began on day one and persisted for the full 12-week study.
Egner et al., Cancer Prevention Research, 2014
Formulation Science
2x Bioavailability
Adding mustard seed myrosinase to glucoraphanin doubled sulforaphane conversion from 18.6% to 39.8% in a randomized, double-blind crossover trial — the formulation approach behind Guard SRF.
Mastaloudis et al., Nature Scientific Reports, 2026
The Formula
Most sulforaphane supplements contain only the precursor, leaving conversion to chance. SRF is formulated for clinically meaningful delivery.
Broccoli seed-derived sulforaphane precursor. The most stable and clinically studied delivery form, used in the landmark Egner and Chen human trials.
The enzyme that converts glucoraphanin into active sulforaphane. Without it, your body converts as little as 5%. With it, conversion reaches 40%.
An essential cofactor for myrosinase enzymatic activity, confirmed by X-ray crystallography. 100mg per dose ensures optimal conversion.
Every batch third-party tested. Full certificates of analysis published. No proprietary blends. No fillers. No misleading "sulforaphane" labels that are actually just precursors.
March 16, 2026
Netflix's The Plastic Detox, from the director of You Are What You Eat, premieres March 16. We built Guard SRF for what comes after — when people search for what they can actually do.
Early access subscribers will be first to know when SRF is available.
The Context
3,000+ peer-reviewed studies on sulforaphane. 61+ registered clinical trials. Research institutions including Johns Hopkins, Stanford, and Harvard studying Nrf2 activation.
Sulforaphane is part of the daily protocols publicly discussed by Dr. Rhonda Patrick, Andrew Huberman, and Bryan Johnson. Guard SRF delivers it at the clinical dose with verified bioavailability.
83% of Americans are worried about microplastics in drinking water. 66% of people across 31 countries express concern. No premium supplement brand has offered a credible, science-backed cellular defense solution. Until now.
Questions
Sulforaphane is a naturally occurring compound found in cruciferous vegetables, most concentrated in broccoli sprouts. It was first identified by Dr. Jed Fahey and colleagues at Johns Hopkins in the early 1990s as the most potent natural activator of the Nrf2 pathway. Despite 3,000+ published studies, it has remained niche because of a fragmented supplement market, confusing labels, and genuine bioavailability challenges — problems Guard SRF was designed to solve.
We want to be direct: no supplement has been proven to remove microplastic particles from the body. What sulforaphane does is activate the Nrf2 pathway, which upregulates Phase II detoxification enzymes that help your body neutralize and excrete chemicals associated with plastic exposure — BPA, phthalates, benzene, and other environmental pollutants. The Egner et al. clinical trial demonstrated a 61% increase in benzene excretion through this mechanism. Guard SRF supports your body's natural detoxification processes; it does not claim to eliminate plastics.
Three things: First, SRF co-formulates glucoraphanin with mustard seed myrosinase and vitamin C, doubling bioavailability compared to glucoraphanin alone (39.8% vs. 18.6% conversion). Second, we dose at clinical levels — the amounts used in peer-reviewed human trials, not the underdosed amounts common in the category. Third, every batch undergoes independent third-party testing with published certificates of analysis. No proprietary blends. No mystery ingredients. You know exactly what you're taking.
Broccoli sprouts are an excellent source of sulforaphane — we genuinely recommend them. The practical challenge is consistency: 3-to-5-day growing cycles, twice-daily rinsing, mold management, and a narrow harvest window. Most people start sprouting with good intentions and stop within weeks. SRF is for the days you can't sprout — which, for most people, is most days.
